A rare Lowestoft porcelain mug
of globular body with scrolled handle with thumbrest, the cylindrical neck moulded with pointed leaves above finely turned bands, painted in underglaze blue with floral swags tied with ribbons, insects and flower sprigs, a ‘flower and leaf’ border below the interior rim.
